Arrived on time , well packaged , moderately easy to assemble even for a novice, sturdy and handsome . When the foundation of the mattresses are assembled they are secured with tiny plastic inserts which I could not get into each slot , requiring the weight of the mattresses to do the work. Otherwise, perfect . perfectly fine with it
Plan on at least three hours to build this bed. The instructions are fairly clear, but take a moment to make sure the screw holes line up or else youre bound to unscrew components that you previously assembled. There is a part where you have to put together the mattress support for the top bunk. The instructions make it seem painless and simple. I recommend using a hammer to insert these plastic snaps and even then it still is an incredibily long process and painful if you start using your hands. With all that being said.the bed is extremely comfortable and sturdy. A 200 lb guy slept in the top bunk and there were no scary moments. Good buy if you have time and a friend to help you build. Very happy with product
If you can read , easy set up. Took about two hours with all the tools provided. The clips are a challenge , but if you take a pair of pliers and bend the clip inward slightly , you can pop em right in no problem. Just one at a time. The bed overall is a tank and has outstanding qualities for the cost.
Also if your feet are week on the steps , go to the hardware store buy 3/4 pipe insulation and gorilla tape, if your buying black. Cut to fit , and nice and neatly fold a strip of tape on each side for a padded ladder. I am very pleased so far
Okay so we took on two new babies and needed to change our current household from 3 children in a 4 bedroom to 5 children in a 4 bedroom. My two eldest boys were bunked up and my oldest son being 16 and quite tall needed a bed that could accommadate him comfortably, however my second oldest son needed something more his size which was drastically smaller.
We looked for a twin over full bunk bed set and found a very reasonably priced one through and very reluctantly purchased it (bugdetary decision). Comparable beds were alot more money and I did want a framed bed because of the style of their room and I felt it would last longer and be more durable than a wooden on. I did not want a bed that would squeak and squawk with every movement or a thrown together contraption that would only last a year.
Well once it arrived in a very narrow but long box I knew I was in for it.piece after piece.piece H, screw 8, slat Mon and on.oh I will tell you I had to step away a few times.it took me almost 4 hours to complete the construction of this bed.
But mainly because I am not the putter/together in our home and I was excited about the project and wanted to do it alone. But if you take it slowly and pay attention to the very detailed and easy/to/read instrutions you will be fine.
After we finished we were very happy with the end result as are my sons. It is a very nice looking bed but more importantly, well made and very sturdy. Given the amount of work it took to put it together I know that bed is very secure, safe and from what my sons have said since it has been up.comfortable. They are so happy with it and I am very happy I purchased it! Just follow the instructions and youll be fine!!
First, the tube size chosen for this thing would make it bomb/proof. Very heavy duty, I have absolutely no worries of rowdy sleepovers racking the whole thing. Youre not going to tear this thing up.unless its not quite right when it arrives.
Assembly was a bit of a challenge, but I rarely read the instructions and that may have helped.
They appeared to be written in English/as/a/third language. Supplies!
One of the threaded grommets that hold the main pieces together had a sloppy weld that damaged the grommet to the point that I couldnt insert the bolt.
And, of course, it was one of the main connections. I have monitored the situation (ok, I slept in the bottom bunk and didnt break it) and I think it should hold. If it doesnt, Ill most likely have to take the piece and get it welded, or try to mount some type of bracket to it to hold the weight.
Overall, happy but QC could have caught the only issue before it became one.
4 stars overall. Very well built
Nice sturdy bunk bed. I bought it for my daughter to take to college. It came in an 8x10x20(aprox)box ,110lbs. The only drawback was it took me 3 1/2 hrs to assemble and Im very good a putting things together. Thats why I only gave it 4 stars. Dont know about about long term durability yet.
It wasnt hard to understand the instruction. Very clear illustrations and everything was labled. There were just ALOT of pieces to assemble.
Its not an open box and snap together product. If you dont mind spending a couple of hrs putting it together I would highly recommend it. GREAT LOVE IT!!!
I had purchased a twin over full for my kids but it was too large for the room. The boys though had a larger room so we moved that bed in their room and put this twin over twin in the girls room. It came earlier than expected. My youngest came in and said the beds on the front porch. SO we moved it in the house and in about 4 and a half hours wed taken the first apart, assembled the second and reassembled the first in the proper rooms. Fairly easy construction, the plastic pieces which snap in the top rails were a bear, but we used the flat side of a regular screwdriver and they popped right in.
Were all pleased. Great product for those that need it. We love it
I like the bed. It is very well made. Only problem I had with the bed was the instructions. You may have to have a degree in engineering to put the bed together, but once its together its great. Better then I thought
The bed is ok, It was difficult to put together on the bottom being 4 of the rails were shipped completely bent so they are useless. Otherwise it is fine. I was actually pretty disappointed.
