After visiting several showrooms and evaluating a handful of 'very expensive' shower systems, we came upon this product by on . Based upon the many positive reviews, functionality of the system and the quality appearance of the product, we purchased the ORB version. We had a full bathroom remodel which included 24 x 48 porcelain tiles. Near the completion of the remodel it was discovered that the shower would not shut completely off - it continued to flow at about 30% pressure. We contacted through the only avenue for California support (email: zhonglyeyakult.com). We were contacted after a day or two by Perry through messaging. We had a couple of conversations over a few days at which time Perry related he had shipped a replacement cartridge for the shower system. Once installed, everything worked perfectly. The original cartridge was missing one of the blue rubber grommets on the back of the cartridge. This either happened when out contractor installed the system or during original production and shipping. Either way, we are happy and thank Perry and SR SUN SRISE for helping us resolve the issue. Can you imagine what it would take to replace the rough-in valve (includes the cartridge) after the complete shower had been built out (cement boards, mortar, tile, etc)?
LESSON LEARNED: When you pick a shower system, you are stuck with the rouge-in valve (the main controller of the plumbing, pressure, hot/cold). Once installed, it will take some work/expense to switch it out if you have a problem. The cartridge is the main component of the valve and they CAN fail. Do you self a favor and purchase an extra cartridge or two as back ups in case of a problem down the road. You never know when a supplier will move on to new models, get bought out by a competitor, etc. The cartridges are inexpensive compared to the overall system. One other think I HIGHLY RECOMMEND is to test the shower system before the motar, tile, etc. Something we failed to do :-(
Back to the system we purchased. I looks great! We live in California which enforces volume control. That said, the pressure this system delivers is superb. We are very happy and once again thank you Perry and for your support.
I seldom write reviews but needed to let the buyer beware on this one.
Noticed black paint on new shower floor 3 months after installation. Have attempted to contact manufacture by phone and email to no avail.
Very happy with this purchase. Saved us hundreds of dollars vs the name brands. Plumber said the valve is very well built, mostly brass construction. Relatively heavy. Only complaints are the SR name brand printed on the valve handle and cover, wished it was just plain so it didnt take away from the nice design. Shower head doesnt always stay put so have to adjust it quite a bit. Overall, would definitely buy again.
This is a very attractive and sturdy product. Packaged very well. Everything you need is in the box. Weekend fixer upper warrior, had no problems with the installation. Materials are top-notch. Waited after we used it to see how it would hold up with our hard water, works as good as it did from the first shower. Highly recommend.
Thought the shower looked beautiful so didnt hesitate to buy it, especially since I saw some decent reviews. After instillation I noticed the smallest drip of water, blaming myself for poor instal. After closer inspection I noticed that it was actually coming from a gasket that was pinched from manufacturing. After that and reading about people experiencing water hammering after a few months I decided to return to get my money back. return to was no hassle but cannot recommend for purchase due to long instal time with a chance for a defunct product.

Had to find/buy a swan-neck pipe for shower head to be tall enough for 63 husband. Now it is beautiful!
Took a chance, dont regret it!
