My daughter needed this chair. I mean, really needed this chair. I looked a long time for a bariatric size recliner. Many health issues she has. She has already told me the chair helps her with pain and she has even been able to reduce some of the medications she was on. She does mention the chair being hot related to the fabric but nothing that a cotton throw doesnt take care of. She is petite and we bought the extender handle to help with that. Take some time and look around / there is a big range of prices but we found our best price here on at about 550, somewhere in there. The unit is heavy. You will need help with this chair which comes in one huge box in two separate pieces. You will love this chair.
My mom also has a big man recliner chair. She has copd so its very hard for her to get comfortable and she needs the added room the chair offers. My step dad saw how comfortable and relaxed she was, so he decided to get one too so they can relax together in their separate chairs on nights thats impossible for her to rest in bed. I also liked the easy assembly of the chair. All in all so far looks like this one is a winner.

Nice firm/ish seating and back. I bought different wheels for the carpet area, so not sure about the wheels that come with it.
If you are a big man or woman this is the recliner you want. I had one of these before and it lasted me ten years. I spent more money on a recliner that did not last me six months. This is the one to buy!
Wonderful for a big tall man, my husband is 67 and 400 pounds this chair is sturdy and with the foot rest out it is nice and long his feet dont hand over the end. It is sturdy enough and roomy enough for him to read a story to his grandchildren.
Easy to assemble and looks great! My only critic is that it leans back a bit too much and I had to get a lumbar pillow in order to have good posture. Would totally buy again!
