It would it be a lot better if it had a cushion. I bought this thinking I was going to be able to find a cushion later, and I was wrong. I have been looking for over a year now, and mission impossible!
Looks really nice and It is holding up well so far. Took less than 30 mins to put together. Super easy only 5 major pieces and the backing.

After careful measuring, I ordered this piece for underneath my kitchen window. Its fits perfectly and looks good. The storage is useful for the kitchen, and I put plants on top. Assembly is required, so I had someone assemble it for me and paid a bit extra, but it was worth it.
The bench looks nice and is great for keeping shoes and boots picked up off the floor but unless you are a small child it is not sturdy enough to sit on while taking on and off your shoes.
This isnt top quality furniture, but I didnt expect it to be. It is better than I expected it to be. Its well designed, well finished, and engineered to assembly very solidly. A sturdy piece of furniture, as I should be for something we are on and off all the time. As other reviewers stated, the baskets arent really big enough for my size 11 shoes. So, I put mine on the shelf and my wife gets the baskets. It works very well.

We bought this bench to help organize a small entry way. Works perfectly. Was worried about the quality considering the reasonable price, but was pleasantly surprised - love this bench. Easy to put together.
First a great price to begin with, and very easy assembly. Finish is very nice, deep walnut look.No blemishes. Only took about 30 minutes to assemble. Great packaging, no damage during shipment. Baskets are sort of cheap feeling, but, the quality of the bench makes up for it, Id rather have a better bench and cheap baskets than the other way around. Although meant to sit on to remove shoes, if youre a huge adult, itll hold you, but why push it. For kids, its fine. Very good size too,,,,for the price and value. Id order again.
This is a very pretty little bench (and it is little). Its definitely not made of the most quality products. My husband usually puts things together for me, but I decided to do this one. It wasnt too difficult, but the pieces dont fit together very well. The wood screws are too short, so it doesnt hold very well. I sat on it (185 lbs) but didnt feel very secure. The baskets are very scratchyI plan to put felt on the bottom of the baskets so they dont scratch the wood all up. It suits its purpose for what it is and for the price. I am mostly happy with it.
