Product was exactly as advertised; it is perfect for mudroom collection of shoes, etc. Stain is dark, as ordered and baskets reinforced. Inexpensive answer to too much clutter. Product delivered in a timely manner.
This was easy to put together by myself and very functional. I ended up putting it in front of a window in our breakfast room and can sit plants in front of the window now and store games and coloring books underneath.
Pay more for a piece thats already made as this bench is average in quality. It had a stripped fastner hole from the factory and the back board had a large crack in it. You get what you pay for especially in furniture.

We went to , purchasing something, but the thought of having particle board bench the first thing in our home forced me to take it back. Searched and searched for something that was made of real wood but not super expensive. We found this, it was the right size, looked good from the pictures, was made of wood, and was a decent price.
Its only been a week, but we reallly like this piece. Its made of real wood, feels solid, and looks great. It came really well packaged and was assembled in less than 30 minutes. We would definitely buy this again and again.
Bench is as shown-- is extremely sturdy and looks great. True story about the storage baskets below being too small though-- they will not fit size 11+ mens shoes. I wear 12 and not even my sandals fit in the baskets.
No big deal though- my wife has small feet so she uses the baskets while I use the top shelf for 4 pairs of my shoes.
If the baskets concern you, find two large baskets to simply replace the three smaller ones. Other than that its a great bench and folks will comment at both its looks and durability.
The bench was easy to assemble, looks good, and is solid enough to sit on every day for putting on shoes. I can fit 3 adult pair of shoes in the top and 3 adult pair of boots in the bottom. Most of the panels are fiberboard but dont look like it at any angle from which youd normally view it.

My wife had been wanting something like this for a while, and finally we splurged. We got a refurbished/returned item that had not been used at all, and it was in perfect condition and saved some $$. All in all, great value and quality for the money.
This was a bit smaller than I was expecting, but exactly what my boyfriend expected. We bought it to accommodate our many board games, and the shelf fits even the largest game we had. Very convenient and attractive, and well worth the price!
