My grandson loves his new bed! His room is really tiny and this provided space for a desk, etc that would not fit otherwise. My husband and daughter put it together with minor problems. Looks great, very sturdy.
Ive put a lot of furniture together (beds, bookshelves, TV stands, etc
This was by far the easiest\quickest setup Ive ever had. Parts (both frame\screws are clearly labeled, instructions are very clear\simple to understand. Bed frame is durable\looks more expensive than product actually is. Definetely worth the investment. Couldnt be happier!
perhaps a little rickety (if you are really trying to test its sturdiness but easy to put together and perfect for converting a small guest room into more storage space.
words to the wise:
-pull out all of the parts and make sure theyre all there and make sure you keep the bolts separated into the right piles.
-whatever you do DONT tighten any nut or bolt until you have the whole thing put together. it may seem that its flimsy while you are putting it together but if you tighten anything it will sinch it up way on the other side and wont fit together and by the time youve gotten to the other side youll have no idea what happened. TRUST ME.
-there are probably going to be a bunch of extra bits. dont freak out about leftovers.
I love these beds. I found them so easy to put together. They hold my teen kids well and they are spaced apart that tall children can even sit up in it. They dont bonk their heads. I wished I had these are long time ago.
Absolutely perfect for the small space we were working with. It does squeak a little bit, as another poster said, but it isnt overly detrimental. Its one of those sounds you quickly tune out, and not really all that annoying. Other than the small squeak, its a sturdy bed, and our daughter absolutely loves it. We put an 8 memory foam mattress in it for her and she wouldnt trade it for anything.
Assembly was ok, im sure it would have been easier if we read the instructions. Two people assembling, one person reading instructions it took about an hour. That includes having to disassembling it because we didnt make sure the posts were aligned properly.
Pros- seems sturdy, no rattling, doesnt sway. Very inexpensive.
Cons- ladder rungs will hurt feet because they are thin. No cut out in railings, you must climb over railing to get on/off ladder at top

Not bad, but could be better.
it feels sturdy, however, during construction half the bolts striped out.
Best instructions Ive ever seen.

The assembly wasnt too bad but the instructions could have been better
Bought this bed for my sons. The assembly wasnt too bad but the instructions could have been better. So far the bed seems pretty sturdy.
OK
Good for under 200pounds. The stairs hurt a lot to step on. I recommend duck tape and covering with quarters of pool noodles. Very wobbly.

Best bunk for teens/tall children

My daughter loves her bed. It was fairly easy to assemble with the help of my 14 year old son. Bed is high so you may not want a tall mattress.
