It took two handymen six hours to put together. It is made from solid wood for most of the pieces. Two boxes arrived damaged so one piece was chipped but overall the bed looks great.

I dont like how difficult it isnto push the bottom bunk in. It gets stuck on the wood to the side and in cannot get it in and out. Is there an alternative to this or can I receive a partial credit and just return the bottom part...? I already paid a contractor to build the entire bed. Please advice how we can resolve this situation.
This piece took my husband all day but I guess it took longer since some screws that came with it didn’t actually fit. I purchased this bc of the wood and reviews for being sturdy but we had to go and purchase thick plywood with a fine finish to use instead of the slats that came with the bed. They were compressed wood and splintered everywhere. We threw them out. The middle part of the rails on top bunk are actually flimsy and I would expect them to break easily. We are going to visit family for a while so my husband has plans to reinforce the entire bed. Also, we let the bunk bed air out for about a week before using it, I wiped it down a few times but the chemical smell was still strong so we basically camped out in the living room during that time. Also, I used 8 inch mattresses and they fit just fine for the kids And still safe. Recommend getting corner guards.

The bed is sturdy, in that it doesn’t shake, but I have my misgivings about is ability to support me. I weigh about 135lbs and my mattress is one of those thin tri-folds and weighs barely 20lbs, if so much. After just a few uses I climbed the stairs and plopped myself down on the bed and heard a loud cracking noise. When I climbed back down to survey the damage I saw that the middle support beam had a huge split in it. Now I have to go find some other support solution before this bed drops me in my sleep.
I’d recommend this bed for little kids, if you’re an adult looking to use this as a space hack for a tiny apartment, just keep looking.
The directions for this bed are ridiculous. There are multiple pieces that have holes in certain locations that do not line up with the picture. A simple up sign on the board would have been super helpful. Instead, I had to take the bed apart multiple times to flip a board. The finish on the bed is so easily scratched. How do you expect this to last when the bed is designed for energetic children? Save your money and buy a different bed.
A great bed but some of the wood coloring chipped off the base wood. It took my kids' dad 4 nights to assemble only to find we were missing a wheel for the bottom drawers. This means the drawers that were supposed to wheel out under the bottom bed...nope can't roll those. I want to rate this higher but how can I when it comes without all of the proper pieces?

Needs to make sure everything is there before sending out.

It was easy to set up but it’s a little flimsy and my daughter broke her bed frame within 2 days by stepping on it.
