I got this bench for use in my bedroom, at the foot of my bed. The wood color goes perfectly with the espresso color of my bedroom suit. It took me about 45 minutes to put together, although Im sure others could do it faster than I did.
And I will say that even though the instructions and packaging claim the maximum weight is 250lbs, I weigh around 300lbs, and I have no problem with it. It feels extremely solid, and hopefully will last years to come.
We really enjoy the look of this bench, and found it pretty easy to put together. The cushion initially felt a little hard, but has softened a bit in the month weve had the bench. 4 stars because the bench has a slight wobble.
I still have and use this bench. It has been moved into my sewing room now and the baskets are perfect for holding my yard, patterns and other supplies. The shelf is great for me to put a bolt of fabric or store a current project. It was originally in my kitchen under a window so the dogs could look outside. It was good for extra seating too, but the storage the bench has isnt very good for kitchen type items. This would also be great in a mud room or foyer. The assembly was straightforward. The piece was more substantial than I expected which was definitely an added bonus!!!
Product arrived in excellent condition. Color is an exact match to the picture in the product description. Easy to assemble but required two people to make it quick. Took less than 30min. I would advise having a small screwdriver handy Bc the tool that comes with it was too small to be functionable. Very sturdy and can hold a 180+man sitting on it.
